Salvus, LLC
Salvus, LLC, is answering the demands for rapid, accurate chemical and biological agent detection. Based on technology incubated at the Georgia Tech Research Institute, our Salvus Detection Platform uses interferometry to quickly and precisely identify pathogens, contaminants and toxins in liquid, air and surface environments. It does so at low detection thresholds and with minimal false positives. Lightweight and easy-to-use, the device can be adapted across multiple platforms, including handheld, drone, vehicle and fixed stations, to meet the demands of diverse missions and environments. The handheld formfactor is capable of Far Forward Biological Sequencing, and the platform is ATAK capable. Current research is focused on PFAS detection and monitoring. Using modified EPA Method 1633, we've proven the ability to reach single-digit parts-per-billion sensitivity and are progressing to parts-per-trillion levels as we streamline our sample preparation process. Our Salvus Detection Platform enables the user to sample, run the analysis, view the results and make decisions at the point-of-concern. Quicker decisions mean quicker deployment of action plans. With more than 320 military bases that span a diverse range of geographic regions in the United States, the challenges that installations face are varied. For this reason, our portfolio matches the breadth and scope of these issues—from developing technologies that protect test and training lands, to demonstrating energy solutions that strengthen installations against disruptions to the commercial electric grid.
